The short version

Make It Exact sets no cookies, runs no analytics, embeds nothing from other companies, and has no account to create. Nothing you type into a calculator is sent anywhere: the arithmetic runs in your browser and the answer never leaves your device.

What the calculators do with your numbers

Nothing leaves your browser. Every page of this site is a static file; there is no application server to receive an input, and no calculation happens anywhere but on your own device. When a page lets you share a scenario, the values travel in the link you copy — they are not stored here.

Server logs

The site is served by Cloudflare, Inc., which processes technical request data — IP address, time, page requested, user agent — to deliver pages and to protect the site from attack. That processing is carried out on our behalf under our hosting arrangement, and we do not use it to build any profile of you.

Advertising

There is none today: no ad network, no affiliate link, no sponsored content, no tracking pixel. This site is expected to carry advertising in future in order to fund itself. When that happens this page will be updated before the first ad is served, a consent banner will appear for readers in the European Economic Area, the United Kingdom and Switzerland, and personalised advertising will be off until consent is given.

Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask what personal data concerning you is processed, and ask for it to be corrected or erased. In practice we hold none that could identify you, but requests are welcome at [email protected]. You may also lodge a complaint with the French supervisory authority, the CNIL.

Children

This site is a general-audience reference tool. It is not directed at children and asks for no personal information from anyone.

Material changes are dated at the top of this page. The publisher’s identity and contact details are on the legal notice.
